Marlo Pascual’s interest lies in the construction of the image. For the foundation of her first book, Pascual uses repetition to trace an image’s transformation between mediums as it moves from found image, to collage, to object, to installation, and then back into a book form. This approach explores the flexibility of the image as an overlapping representation that fluctuates between a plurality of forms, offering insight into the complexities of pictorial construction.

Marlo Pascual is published by Hassla Books in an edition of 500. It measures 7 x 8.75 in., saddle-stitched, 48 pages, softcover, B/W offset and retails for $25.00. Available here
