Join us at Printed Matter Chelsea for a zine signing with artist Inbar Levi. Levi’s photo-based zine, Time Like the Present, is an intimate disclosure of the inner space of a moment. What once was private is now known. Singular poems of pigments fused together, exposing dissolved subjects in a regenerated focus, without holding back, running on all cylinders.

Inbar Levi b.1987 is a photographer, a creative director and a fashion designer. Following her 2013 graduation from the Master’s fashion design program at Central Saint Martins in London, Inbar has relocated to Los Angeles where she launched her own fashion label. Inbar has produced multiple collections that were presented in New York showrooms, and selected for presentation at Pitti Uomo by Vogue Italia. Inbar’s first photo book ‘Photos’ was published in 2019 and was carried by Bookstores such as Photo-Eye Santa Fe, Librairie Yvon Lambert Paris, The Photographer’s gallery London amongst other prestige galleries and stores globally. Inbar has photographed and creative directed videos and editorials for the likes of Vogue Italia, i-D magazine, Tank magazine, Rollacoaster and Teeth magazine. In 2021 the publisher Innen Zurich has published a zine for Inbar Titled ‘In Light of Darkness’ . The same year Inbar has exhibited her large photographic prints in a solo show in Los Angeles titled ‘In Sync’ that was presented at the Icon. In 2022 Inbar was invited to collaborate with Ron Herman in their Japanese division, to create a limited line of T shirts with Inbar’s photographs screen printed, the collaboration was part of a solo traveling photo exhibition in 4 different locations in Tokyo and Kyoto, of the framed photographic prints of Inbar Levi. In November 2022 the photo book ‘Off Blue’, Inbar’s Second photo book, was published and carried by all the major bookstores such as Printed Matter, Karma, Arcana: Books on the Arts.
