Miss Taken Identities is “a delicious slice of life. Intriguing and sexy Polaroids from 1970s & 80s reveal Miss Behave Miss Kerr’s secret correspondence with Ray Johnson and postcards from Giancarlo Politi, all wrapped up in pages filled with beautiful prose and enticing photographs.”

This event is in advance of a performance by Samsom at Hal Bromm Gallery on May 5th.

Marja Samsom is a renaissance artist with multiple creative practices and is always developing new ideas & projects.

Samsom hosted underground dinners for friends in the East Village, and this evolved into a thriving restaurant: The Kitchen Club & Chibi’s Bar, open from 1990 to 2010. The Kitchen Club was an iconic destination for discerning international diners as well as art and fashion royalty such as Lou Reed, Laurie Anderson Malcolm McLaren, Zaha Hadid , Bjork, Catherine Deneuve , and Inez & Vinoodh.
