Dream Sequel Observatory
From the artist:
Dream Sequel Observatory taps into the human mind and realms of the unconscious while addressing identity, gender roles and a shift in the elementary principles of humankind and the natural world. The eye stands in as an anonymous protagonist, all knowing or disquietly frightened. Here the eye is not about seeing, but about seeing again.
In this surreal dreamscape, reality, time and space are hard to define. Uncertainty plays into our fascination with the unknown and the mood takes on a theatrical, eerie presence of distorted memories and anxieties.
All of which are strangely familiar and relate to fragments from the past, present and future that coexist and inform this visual study of social consciousness.
