On occasion of Book as System: The Artists’ Books of Sol LeWitt, we are pleased to present a roundtable discussion with Christopher Vacchio, Lindsay Aveilhé, Erica DiBenedetto and Jason Rulnick exploring the work of Sol LeWitt. The conversation will consider LeWitt’s publication practice in relationship to other aspects of his art-making.

Christopher Vacchio is the Director of Research, Sol LeWitt Wall Drawings Catalogue Raisonné, Artifex Press

Lindsay Aveilhé is the Editor, Sol LeWitt Wall Drawings Catalogue Raisonné, Artifex Press

Erica DiBenedetto is a Ph.D. candidate at Princeton University working on her dissertation “Drawing from Architecture: The Conceptual Methods of Sol LeWitt’s Art, 1960–1980”, co-curator of The ABCDs of Sol LeWitt at the Williams College Museum of Art, and contributor to Sol LeWitt: The Well-Tempered Grid.

Jason Rulnick is a former assistant to Sol LeWitt, and a contributor to the forthcoming title ’Sol LeWitt: Not To Be Sold For More Than $100’, being published this fall by Radius Books, Santa Fe. He is a Senior Specialist in Post-War & Contemporary art at Artnet.
