Printed Matter is pleased to host “Slumburbia” a window installation by book artist David Sandlin. Pur-Ton-o-Fun Co. Scatalog is a full-color accordion-style compendium of puritanical novelty items, including the Sinner’s Safety Belt and Sin-Away Hood. Slumburbia II is a panoramic tour of a sleepy, cloud-filled kingdom of sloth and lust. This is the tabloid newsprint version of Sandlin’s spectacular 9-meter-long silkscreened book, published in an edition of 1000 and retailing for $5.00. The book is available here.
