LAST NIGHT I DREAMT THAT SOMEBODY LOVED ME is an adult coloring book detailing the “very queer” experience and perspective of Texas-based artist and illustrator Nathan Rapport. The book pairs explicit drawings of men engaging in group sex with the lyrics from heartbreak songs by singer-songwriters Tori Amos, Annie Lennox and Prince. The graphic imagery turns toward the intimate when matched with the raw emotion of the break-up songs, creating a balance between the two that is humorous and touching. Rapport also presents a selection of new t-shirts, and launches a collaborative shirt with Allan Herrera for his line crusAIDS, a brand was developed to promote education and self-awareness around the history of the AIDS epidemic, HIV awareness and transmission.
