Published in conjunction with the artist’s solo exhibition at the Davis Museum at Wellesley College, New Gravity features recent and site-specific works by New York based artist Tony Matelli (born 1971) accompanied by hundreds of found images. Matelli’s work reorients the viewer’s relationship to objects, upending forms and bodies to challenge and redefine perception.
