In preparing for a solo exhibition American painter Landon Metz (b. 1985) was commissioned to portray his work process in his New York based West Street Studio through a camera lens, for two intensive weeks. This photo-book, published by Libraryman (Stockholm), presents the results of this effort, which is unique in its kind from the artist’s usual practice.

West Street Studio includes a 4-paged conversation between Landon Metz and American art curator Diego Cortez, as well as a poem written by the author. The book is edited & designed by Tony Cederteg.

The publication is clothbound hardcover with cover text in gold foil and Swiss binding. It measures 9 x 11.4 inches, 36 pages, and is printed duotone offset in an edition 400 numbered copies.

A Special Edition of 25 numbered copies in unique monochrome hand-painted canvas slipcase— with signed woodblock print (8" x 10") – is also available.
