Photographed over the course of 2012, A Place You Can’t Find is a photo book that touches on the idea of going somewhere but getting nowhere. The images from Liza Mandelup were taken while running away with a group of friends, staying in abandoned buildings and different farms around the east coast.  The book explores the desire in us to redefine our personal space and surroundings and the compulsion to assign physicality to the part of you that searches for something that can’t be found. This book is a representation of the desire to go anywhere. Capturing these anywhere places and the people looking for them.   The release will feature a sidewalk dance performance by Elle Erdman at 7 PM. DJ set by Kevin Tong 6-8 PM.

A Place You Can’t Find is self published by Liza Mandelup and features her photography. The publication is 48 pages, color, measures 8 ½ by 11 inches and is an edition of 200.
