This first edition of “Who Pays?” features three simple photocopied compositions that satirize the public’s thirst for greed and violence. While the works urge the reader to “Breed, Breed, Greed and Death”, Bobby G questions the cost of our compulsions and ultimately, “Who Pays?” The publication was first on sale in Colab’s “Times Square” show – a month-long party, business enterprise, and loosely curated exhibition of art, film, fashion, and exotica. Since then, it has been reprinted in multiple editions to commemorate the political, raucous, and revolution DIY art exhibition in the old dirty and devastated Times Square.
