As a fan of tofu, Alison would like to share the story of a local tofu business. From the same origin, SOY Beans, a wide range of tofu and relevant products are being produced as low price food ingredients, which contribute to Hong Kong people’s daily meals throughout the years.The setting of traditional tofu shops attached with workshops have become a special part of tofu culture. Before the disappearance of tofu culture under the rapid urban development in the city, Alison wishes to use her illustration and words to pay a tribute to the people, who have spent their life in the industry.” - Alison Hui
