Prints of Protest: Boxed Set (Prints by Anaïs Duplan, Kameelah Janan Rasheed, Julian Louis Phillips, Tony Cokes, Neema Githere, and Erica Génécé)
Highlighting the work and words of Black artists, the risograph prints available in this fundraiser edition originated as Instagram posts recommended by a group of artists the organizers have worked with through the collaborative artist publication prompt:. The prints constitute a mini archive of how artists in our wider community have responded to ongoing violence and recent protests over police brutality, using social media as a space for reflection or collectivization.
The boxed sets of the prints were produced in a limited edition of six and include all six prints from the contributing artists: Anaïs Duplan, Kameelah Janan Rasheed, Julian Louis Phillips, Tony Cokes, Neema Githere, and Erica Génécé.
Each print is within a plastic sleeve; set of prints is within an archival box
Proceeds benefit the artists and organizations that are supporting people of color and working to dismantle racist institutions: Marsha P. Johnson Institute, The Laundromat Project, National Bail Out Collective, and Critical Resistance. Special thanks to our printer, Endless Editions, for supporting this project. - prompt:
