Cabin in the Woods is an artist comic by artist Tara Booth published and printed by Colorama in Berlin in 2019. Cabin in the Woods illustrates the story of a young woman, feeling worn down and distracted by urban life, who takes a much needed imaginary respite in the woods with her dog. Wide open space and a plethora of trees provide the main character with the relief she couldn’t find through Netflix, therapy, critical theory texts, and porn. Tara Booth’s unique style of colorful illustration reinvents cultural signs and symbols while paying close attention to pattern, detail, and figuration.
