Aging in the 21st Century is a zine, self published by artist Amy J. Fleming which addresses a myriad of issues facing seniors. Age discrimination, financial uncertainty, and the healthcare industry’s mistreatment of seniors are all brought to light through satirical, witty collages. Fleming’s humorous approach to these serious issues provides a refreshing “Rock ‘n Roll” perspective which, Fleming writes, “you’re really going to need to handle all that.”
Amy J. Fleming is an artist and teacher, born in Lexington, Kentucky who currently lives in Tallahassee, Florida.
