Phile Magazine is a biannual publication which investigates sexual subcultures, trends and issues, both obscure and well known, from a sociological point of view.
Issue No. 2 will feature 130 pages of cerebral content and thought provoking imagery. Our contributors range in ethnic background as well as gender and sexual identities. PHILE contains articles, interviews, photo essays and creative writing which explore how communities reject societal structures and create space to explore sexuality.
The publication combines elements of an academic journal, an art book and an erotic magazine. Phile dissects forms and practices of sexuality with the aim to encourage a more empathetic understanding towards people and communities who live outside of normative or binary structures. - PHILE
