For Nothing Changes Yet is a rare artist book by Todd Walker, originally published in 1975. In this book, Todd Walker’s digital images are juxtaposed alongside text from Anatomy of Melancholy written by Robert Burton in 1652 interjected with newspaper headlines, collected by Walker from the 1970’s. In this book, Walker does not draw any obvious connections between the three components, but encourages readers to find connections of their own. This hardcover book, which includes full color prints is published by Nexus Press through the Nexus Press Residency Program, which Walker attended.
Todd Walker is a self taught artist and bookmaker known for his highly manipulated digital images and offset lithograph process. His images are strikingly abject, often depicting the body in strange textures and color schemes in a process which predated the surgence of digital art and media. Walker transitioned from an advertising career to a career as a professor and prolific artist as his work became more experimental and gained attention in art circles worldwide.
