Following Printed Matter’s recent Spring Benefit Auction we are pleased to offer a selection of donated artworks for sale through our Online Benefit Gallery. A selection of original works, in addition to recent Printed Matter fundraising editions and donated book works, are currently on view in Chelsea through the Summer.

This incredible selection of contemporary and vintage works, some newly created for the Benefit event, come from an exciting group of artists in Printed Matter’s extended community. Some highlights include: a mixed media piece with lily, bronze powder, shellac, and dye on paper by Rochelle Goldberg; a mixed media work on canvas from John Armleder, a signed collograph edition from Nicole Eisenman, a mixed media piece on handmade paper, acrylic paint and plastic bread bag fasteners by B. Wurtz. Additional works from Sue Williams, Dan Graham, Martha Wilson, Joe Bradley, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Seth Price, and many others!

We are also pleased to offer a selection of classic artists’ books at special discounted price, including a hardbound edition of Tulsa by Larry Clark accompanied by a black-and-white photograph signed and numbered by the artist, a deluxe edition of Inside World by Richard Prince with an original signed joke drawing, a special edition of Christopher Wool’s YARD with a unique signed B&W silver gelatin print, as well as a set of 11 artists’ books and editions from the classic Artists & Photographs series (Multiples, Inc., 1970) including works by Bochner, Christo, Huebler, LeWitt, Morris and Ruscha, and others!

Our sincere thanks to the many artists and individuals who have generously contributed to this effort.

Funds raised through the sale of these works will play a critical role in Printed Matter’s rebound from lost revenue due to the Covid pandemic, and will help ensure that Printed Matter will continue to thrive into the future.
