PRINTED MATTER MATTERS!
We recently marked (okay, missed) the celebration of our 35th
anniversary, but we've been busy trying to support all that's
happening these days with artist-made publications. We're constantly
learning more about the vibrant community of people that make these
beautiful, challenging books. In addition to keeping our non-profit
Chelsea storefront full of amazing publications (15,000 of them), we
also publish artists' books, host lectures, book launches and
performances, organize in-store exhibitions and put on our annual
(totally free) NY Art Book Fair. It's hard work to keep all this going
on. We love doing it but we do need help. This year we've changed the
benefits of a Printed Matter membership, so that when you give you get
more choice.
All members receive a 10% discount on purchases instore & online, as well as invitations to exhibition openings, and our annual members party & sale. Members also get to choose the Printed Matter, Inc. title(s) or print edition corresponding to the membership level below.
All member levels $250 and above also receive special invitations to private artist/curator-led exhibition previews throughout the year. Most of your membership will be tax deductible (read the small print).
Student/Artist ($35)
A small gift with your next purchase.

Book Circle ($1000)
Each month, Book Circle Members will receive one of our favorite books, chosen by our Executive Director. The curated selection will feature the best of independently published artists' publications, including some signed works and other special projects.
This is a fantastic way to support Printed Matter while receiving some of the most interesting, hard-to-discover books delivered to your front door. $750 is tax-deductible.
For contributions above $1000, please speak with Printed Matter's Executive Director at 212-925-0325
