As a result, Summary is Barr's darkest and most complex record yet. Impassioned and articulate, it trawls the depths of relationships and explores the potential of catharsis. As Brendan says in the first single from the record - the aptly named 'The Song Is The Single' - it is 'a conduit to give out a feeling in a compact form'. The body and the record become one and the same.

It is also the title of Jacob Ciocci's new LP / DVD that showcases his solo work from the past decade. As one of the founding members of tour de force artist collective Paper Rad, Jacob Ciocci is somewhat of a internet-generation icon known for his multimedia practice that spans video, animation, performance, music (with his band Extreme Animals), printed matter, digital/internet art, and painting. A musical segment of Ciocci's massively influential rainbow of creative output has been captured on this LP comprising of soundtracks from videos and animations, as well as a selected discography of self released cassettes, hand made CDRs, 7 inch vinyl, and live recordings along with a DVD of selected video works.
