The book also includes a translation of a Korean government document from 1907, an exploration of the concept of "enemy," and the text of a petition from the Koreans of Hawaii to President Roosevelt.
Though the focus is mostly on this textual content,
Clio History also features a black and white photograph of Yu Guan Soon, two pages of large chracters in brush script, and a page-spread of handwriting in English. The first page has the same seal-stamp as the cover, but in red ink.
The cover itself is not bound to the book, but folded over the end-pages as a dust jacket.
